| Sustainable or "green"
design is defined by the IALD, International
Association of Lighting Designers,
as follows: "Sustainable lighting
design meets the qualitative needs
of the visual environment with the
least impact on the physical environment."
We support the responsible use of
renewable energy and other sustainable
technologies when combined effectively
to enhance the visual environment.
The program of use dictated by the
end user along with the unique architecture
of any given project drives our approach.
This is to solve the requirements
of the program while greatly improving
the experience of the occupants within
each space. We aspire to attain the
highest quality of light while working
with new lamp technologies, control
systems and meeting the end user budget. |
|
Our
goal is to create a solution that
makes the most effective use of light
sources, controls that recognize the
different uses of each space by the
occupants and make a qualitative difference
to the existing environment.
With all projects, we strive to conserve
energy and use efficient lamp sources,
while enhancing the occupant's ability
to use the facility to its greatest
potential. We will do our best to
seek out companies who demonstrate
support in environmental awareness
in keeping with our commitment to
environmental responsibility. We welcome
any opportunity to speak with you
about our approach to "green" design. |
